The American Mutual Life Association (AMLA) began more than 100 years ago, providing for the needs of Slovenian immigrants to Ohio. Today, this tradition has expanded to provide for all AMLA members through life insurance plans, retirement accounts, and general support for the community.

AMLA is an acronym for the American Mutual Life Association. As a fraternal benefit society, AMLA is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code. AMLA is licensed only in the State of Ohio. It is a member in good standing of the American Fraternal Alliance, the national trade association for fraternal benefit societies. There are currently more than 8,600 members of AMLA.
