DESCRIPTION:March 23\, 2025\nSt. Mary’s Parish Hall\n15519 Holmes Avenue\, Cleveland\, 44110 \nDinner tickets are $18/adult & $9/child. \nSince 1952 Catholic Mission Aid\, an IRS Section 501(c)(3) charity\, formerly known as Misijonska Znamkarska Akcija (MZA) has been raising funds to support Slovenian missionaries in foreign countries. Presently\, 37 missionaries serve the poor in 26 countries\, such as the Canadian Arctic; Siberia (Russia); Ukraine; Madagascar where they feed 10\,000 children a bowl of rice & beans/day and teach 14\,000 children; in the deep jungle of Brazil on the Amazon River; twelve countries in Africa; Cuba; Mexico; the Archdiocese of Izmir (southwestern) Turkey where the Blessed Virgin Mary lived and was cared for by St. John\, the Apostle\, and is the episcopacy of Slovenian Franciscan Archbishop Kmetec. \nJoe Tavcar of Tavcar Catering\, has for many years now\, donated his culinary skills to support CMA. He will cook a delicious luncheon at St. Mary’s Parish Hall \nPlease bring your home-baked specialties for the Bake Sale\,\nand plan for a basket raffle. \nVolunteers are welcome.
