Join the celebration of the AMLA’s 110th Anniversary by joining The AMLA 110 Initiative!
What is the AMLA 110 Initiative?
Benevolence is generally defined as the desire to do good for others, goodwill, and charity. Since 1910, the AMLA has worked to encourage benevolence throughout its Membership. Many Members have taken this concept to heart and have spent a lifetime of doing good!
So we are asking our Members to share their acts with the rest of the Membership through the AMLA 110 Initiative! We hope this will encourage more Members to do good in their communities. This will also help non-Members understand the principals of the AMLA, and that it is a strong partner to the community.
Any time that 3 or more AMLA Members gather in the name of community service or preservation of the Slovenian heritage that helped start the AMLA, we will support and record the act for posterity provided it follows these three provisions:
1: Your actions provide a service to the community or an organization that is not established for the profit of an individual or company or to promote a product, service, individual, or company.
2: Your actions magnify the service or the efforts of the organization beyond that of a single person.
3: You notify the AMLA Home Office about your efforts!
