AMLA 2025 Golf Scramble at New Location, New Time

84 golfers signed up for the 2025 AMLA Golf Scramble. This year’s edition was hosted by Briardale Greens Golf Course in Euclid, Ohio. The 21 foursomes started at an earlier than normal shotgun start of 9:00 AM. Despite a few raindrops early on, the sun eventually came out—as did the competitive edge of several teams. At the conclusion, there were 6 teams finishing within 5 strokes of the top team and 13 teams below par.

Team Vargas, in their second year competing took first place with a -11 score. Just behind them in second was Team Lavrisha in their fourth year. In third, Team Coffelt in their second year in the scramble.

The AMLA Golf Scramble is made possible with donations from AMLA Lodge 1- Slovenec, Lodge 8 – Kras, Lodge 9- Cleveland, Lodge 24 – Queen of Peace, Lodge 27 – Blejsko Jezero, Lodge 38 – Martha Washington, Lodge 42 – Slovenska Bistrica, Lodge 45 – Modern Crusaders. Thanks to these contributions, there were 42 door prizes awarded to participants. These ranged from AMLA swag items to gift cards and more.
